Where to start? I was born in Vietnam and later adopted by a Jewish family in Buffalo, New York—oy vey! I arrived here after the Vietnam War. I spent my childhood in Buffalo before moving to California at the age of 12. Eventually, I pursued a college education in teaching.
Currently, I work as a Special Education teacher for LAUSD, focusing on IDS (Intellectual Disability Severe). I have dedicated approximately 12 years to special education, having spent an additional 5 years as a general education teacher. Teaching special education is my passion, and I have experience in various areas of the field, with a particular expertise in behavior management for all students.
I am also a proud parent to a wonderful 14-year-old son, who is the love of my life. He inspires me every day to strive for greatness so that I can be the best version of myself for him.
I could share much more about my story, but I know you're not here just to hear about me. We can dive deeper into my journey when we meet!
When I was younger, I always viewed the world through a different lens. I approached things in my own unique way, and I continue to do so. From the very beginning, I have had a deep appreciation for art.
Art exists in countless forms, and it fascinates me how some individuals can create in astonishing ways while others excel in different areas, also remarkably! Art is subjective. To me, an artist is someone who crafts something so incredible that it astonishes and leaves a lasting impression on others. That is the essence of being an artist. Once again, art is present in all its forms, not just on paper.
When you have a passion for something, why not share it with the world? And that’s exactly what I aim to do...
